Paraglider crash landed on Pendle Hill

A PARAGLIDER injured his leg in an accident on Pendle Hill.

The 28-year-old man is said to have broken his leg in two places and dislocated his knee after making a crash landing on some rocks.

Police officers and the North West Air Ambulance were called to the scene at 3pm on Monday.

The man, who is thought to be from Darwen was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by the air ambulance.
