Bacup paedophile faces sentence

A MAN is facing a long jail term after admitting a string of child sex offences.

Lee Lewis-Howard, 36, pleaded guilty to six charges of rape, two counts of assault by penetration, one allegation of sexual assault and one of assault causing actual bodily harm at Burnley Crown Court.

The defendant, of Rose Bank Street, Bacup, was remanded in custody until October 12, for pre-sentence and psychiatric reports. He was ordered to sign the sex offenders' register.
