Bank holiday medical care warning to East Lancashire patients
3:59pm Thursday 9th August 2012 in News
HEALTH bosses are urging local residents to plan medical care ahead of the August bank holiday.
GP surgeries and dental practices will be closed on Monday, August 27.
NHS Blackburn with Darwen and East Lancashire have launched a Summer campaign to promote the use of high street pharmacies for common health complaints.
People are being advised to ensure that they have enough of their regular medication prior to the August bank holiday by contacting their GP or pharmacist.
Over the bank holiday weekend people can call NHS 111 for free from a landline or mobile for non emergency advice.
