Two lanes of M65 shut after car loses wheel

TWO lanes of the M65 were shut after a car lost a wheel.

Police were called at 10.30am to the incident involving a BMW on the westbound carriageway between junction eight at the A56 junction, and junction seven at Accrington.

Police said the female driver of the car was unharmed. No other vehicles were involved.
