Illegal travellers' site set up near Blackburn police HQ (From Lancashire Telegraph)

If the land is not being used they may as well live on there. I notice it says on there hanging washing out I bet there are areas of Blackburn were that doesn't happen very often.

They have already nicked all the hub caps of every single police car!

There are far worse things happening, this counrty doesn't sort its own people out but opens the welcome gates and rolls the red carped out for asylum seekers and so on.

Strange thing happens when travellers move into the area, drain lids, lead and gates start to go missing, maybe they just rust away overnight! Bizarre isn't it?

It wont be hard for the Police to find these people when they once again Nick lead, copper pipes & copper cables all they need to do is look for the mound of black smoke thats created from the burning of PVC insulation thats on the electrical cables.
for the people who say there are some decent ones in the rat pack, well show me one if you can also ask them when was the last time they had a job & paid any form of Tax.

I have no doubt some of the ladies are quite personable but i wouldn't ever trust one, nor would i believe the smokescreen they are trained from an early age to present to non-travellers. you may be enjoying a particular immunity because you are of use to them and will allow them on the premises but don't for one minute think they would show you or your property any respect otherwise.

Yes I have witnessed it, some of the women have brought their tax forms in for me to read and explain to them but told them to use a solicitor to help them. Also one of my ladies and her husband lost their little girl through child hood cancer and at the funeral they had a collection and donated the money to the hospital. I will admit I was wary so I phoned the hospital to check the money was donated in full to which the lady I spoke to confirmed and I felt so guilty that I made a judgment like that. What you have to remember is only bad things are reported and from first hand experience shouldn't tar them all with the same brush.

Ok, I can accept that, but where my suspicions lie is in the way that, much like the muslim community they will hide or cover for members that have brought them the bad name, simply because they are 'one of ours'. this in my mind makes them voluntarily part of a collective who can't really moan when they get negative comments. In essence they are aiding and abetting!

Yeah I would say that behaviour is wide spread across ALL communities. What I have noticed is on here may people stay along the lines of they should conform to modern day living all move into houses and so on. But you can see for yourself they abuse they face so I know if I was them I would much rather stay in a group of them than move in a house where you are most likely going to end up next to people whom have certain opinions and hatred towards them. The only way forward I see if for them to be on legal sites in appropriate areas and pay council tax and so on or if people want them in houses then they are going to have to give their new neighbours a chance. Its one or the other because they are too much of a nuisance on the side of the road.

Why is it they can go were they want and do what they want and if the owner doesn't want them there even though they have illegally set up camps its the owner and the tax payer who pay a huge bill to get them moved to just go elsewhere. Send a sh*t spreader past the sight and spray the site see how long they remain!!!!!!!
