EUROFIGHTER Typhoons are now the sole aircraft of the Italian Air Force, it has been announced.
The last of the air forces' F-16 jets have now been replaced with the Typhoon, which is manufactured at BAE's plant in Samlesbury.
A total of 62 aircraft have been delivered to the air force.
