Suspected arson at Nelson hairdressers

A fire at a Nelson hairdressers in the early hours of this morning is believed to have been started by arsonists.
Emergency services were called at about 3.50am after smoke was seen coming from Sameea Hair and Beauty in Manchester Road.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately at the rear of the shop.
Detective Sergeant Richard Blackburn said “I would urge anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time to come forward and contact police if they have not done so already.”
