Power cut in Todmorden this afternoon

DOZENS of businesses in Todmorden have been forced to close after a power cut in the town centre.

Workmen are thought to have cut through a cable at the junction of Burnley Road and White Hart Fold shortly before 4pm today.

Staff from Northern Power Grid were working at the scene.
