Appeal to trace missing Burnley girl Appeal to trace missing Burnley girl

AN appeal has been launched for information about the whereabouts of a 14-year-old girl who has gone missing from home.

Bethany Olivia Marie Wallace has not been seen since she left her home address in Cog Lane, Burnley, at 5pm on Tuesday February 7.

She is described as being white, 5 feet 8 inches tall with very long dark brown hair. She was wearing a black top with grey jogging pants and black pumps.

Sergeant Pete Law, from Burnley police, said “Understandably, Bethany’s family and friends are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and want to know that she is safe.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen Bethany or knows where she is to come forward and contact police.”

Bethany has links to the Staffordshire area.

Anyone with information can call Burnley police on 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
