BURNLEY cricketer Jimmy Anderson showed his funny side when he appeared on popular BBC2 comedy Shooting Stars.
The England bowling ace was a member of captain Ulrika Jonsson’s team along with actor Matt Berry.
His team finished runners-up in the celebrity TV quiz but Anderson tweeted that he was looking forward to watching the show.
Writing on Twitter, he said he missed the broadcast of the programme, hosted by Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, but had recorded it.
He also tweeted a response to team mate, Stuart Broad, after he said: “How to ruin a perfectly good day...@JimmyAnderson9 on Shooting Stars!”
Anderson replied: “Wow. You're watching that when you could be out celebrating?”
The programme was shown on Monday night after the England team had completed a series whitewash against India.
