A WORKMAN has been removed from a site amid allegations he urinated in the street in full view of a child.
Lancashire County Council (LCC) confirmed the man, who was part of a team removing flagstones and resurfacing the pavement in Garden Street, Brierfield, was taken off the site within ten minutes of the complaint being received.
The complaint was made by a resident who said his son saw the worker pull down his pants and urinate in the street.
Stephen Crewdson, LCC’s senior contacts manager, said: “We always act quickly to deal with any allegations of inappropriate behaviour on site and we removed this individual within 10 minutes of receiving the complaint.
“However, it’s only fair to point out that the person involved denies any wrongdoing.”
