Marion Joan LAVERY (nee Hedley) Joan died peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Abbeyfield Extracare Home, Clitheroe, aged 98 years. Widow of Dr Geoffrey, sister of Margot, mother of Robin, Christopher and Peter, grandmother and great-grandmother. A funeral service to celebrate the life of this remarkable woman who lived life to the full will be held at the Parish Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Clitheroe on Monday, December 8 at 10.30 a.m. followed by a private family cremation.
