Six hundred pensioners enjoyed fish and chips and a theatre visit, thanks to a businessman’s generosity.
The Braintree daytrippers left Towerlands Park in the town for their visit to see to 60s pop band The Searchers at Felixstowe, courtesy of The Gredley Charitable Trust.
Bill Gredley has sponsored the trip for the last five years, which is open to any pensioner living within a five mile radius of St Michael’s fountain, Braintree.
