A PHOTOGRAPHER is looking to track down a woman whose picture he took at a Ribble Valley event – so he can publish a set of charity Christmas cards.
Lensman and journalist Garry Cook, 36, wants to include a shot of a woman taken at the Pickwick Night in Whalley last Christmas but he wants her permission before going ahead with the project.
Garry, of Preston, said: “I’ve produced a set of festive-inspired images as Christmas cards which will be published later this year.
“The photo in question was taken on Limefield Avenue in Whalley during the Pickwick Night last December. The two decorated houses in the background are well-known in the area for having some of the best Christmas decorations every year.
“I want to include this image in the set of twelve but would like to get permission from the lady in the photo as she is such an important part of it.”
Garry wants to sell the cards in packs of 12 with some profits going to local charities, such as St Catherine’s Hospice, Chorley.
The images were mainly in Lancashire, at shopping centres, garden centres, Christmas balls and Christmas parties.
