THE newly-refurbished market hall is set to be unveiled tomorrow after a £2million project was completed.
New ground floor stalls and balcony units will be formally ‘handed back’ to the council by the contractors from 9.50am.
Some of the stalls have been refurbished while older ones were replaced with modern units, designed to blend in with the character of the Grade II listed building.
The original stone flooring flags have been exposed, repaired and brought back to their former glory.
The galleries have been transformed into shops.
Hyndburn Enterprise Trust will also move in from the Globe Centre and continue to provide a range of business support services.
A new mezzanine floor features a cafe, exhibition area and new toilets suitable for disabled visitors.
Among the guests will be council leader Peter Britcliffe.
