A man was robbed by a passenger in a car as he was walked along the street.
The 39-year-old victim was in Abel Street, Stoneyholme, when two Asian men in a purple Honda Civic pulled up and started talking to him.
The passenger then jumped out the car before punching the man and stealing a Nokia mobile phone and a wallet.
The incident which happened between 2.05am and 2.30am on Sunday. Anyone with information should contact PC Lisa Bell on 01282 425001.
