Thwaites brewery has raised a glass to Baxenden-based pie-makers, Hollands.
The Blackburn brewery will supply Thwaites Best Mild for Hollands' new beef-in-ale pies, part of the Betty Turpin-inspired "Betty's Kitchen" range.
Thwaites marketing manager Mike Law said: "Thwaites beers are known throughout the country as a taste of Lancashire.
"It is fitting that we should join forces with Lancashire's best-known pie-makers and, of course, the world's best known-soap opera, Coronation Street."
Hollands' marketing manager Dilys Day added: "We tried a number of beers but, once we tasted Thwaites, we decided that was the magic ingredient."
