FORMER Rovers and England star Ronnie Clayton proved a winner with JobCentre staff.
Ronnie was guest star at the official opening of the new centre in Cardwell Place, Blackburn.
Also in attendance were Employment Services district manager Bernard O'Donnell, deputy mayor Coun Edna Arnold and JobCentre manager Zoe Smith.
The open day was staged to show local employers the range of recruitment services offered by the JobCentre including initial interviews and work trials.
The centre's staff also provides support for employers to take on disabled people from the area.
