A WINE bar customer said to have attacked the manager's friend, has been found not guilty.
Stephen King, 29, was cleared of assaulting Derek Morton, after a three-day trial, at Burnley Crown Court.
King, of Queen Street, Great Harwood, denied the allegation.
The jury heard King punched Mr Morton at the door of Baggy's, Great Harwood, after being barred.
Mr Morton went to the Accrington Victoria Hospital, where he was found to have suffered a lacerated lip, bruising and pain.
King's barrister, Tony Cross, said the defendant had been "banged" out of the wine bar by one of the manager's friends because he thought the manager was going to get clattered."
He suggested one of the manager's friends had "baited" King, said: "Come on then," and Mr Morton got punched when the manager's friends went to go for him.
