FOOTBALL crazy schoolboy Nathan Roocroft won a trip of a lifetime - to help urge FIFA bosses to give England the chance to host the World Cup.
Nathan, nine, from Southport Road in Leyland, and three other youngsters this week travelled to FIFA's headquarters in Zurich, alongside England's football experts.
The party included Tony Banks MP, England 2006 campaign director Alec McGivan, Liverpool and England star Michael Owen, Sir Bobby Charlton and Sir Geoff Hurst.
They carried the bid to host the 2006 World Cup on a special British Airways Boeing 777 aircraft - emblazoned with the words "Bringing Football Home" on the fuselage.
Lucky Nathan won the chance to fly out to Zurich in a nationwide competition.
