PARENTS studying for courses at the Enterprise Centre, in South West Burnley, have had their lives made easier with the opening of a creche on site.

The Happy Faces creche was officially launched this week and caters for children from newborn babies to five year olds.

It is run by child care co-ordinator, Annette Bailey, who is helped out during the week by qualified creche workers from New Era and Burnley College.

Annette said: "They can leave their children while they do the courses, such as computing, English and sewing.

"It is also a drop-in centre where parents can pop in for a brew and play with their children.

"We actually opened on March 13, but it is going slowly at the moment, so I am hoping the launch will attract more people."

The creche is open daily from 10am till 3pm.
