AMBULANCE crews were snubbed by Health Secretary Kenneth Clarke after he refused to give any extra cash to the service.
The snub was a blow for the people of East Lancashire who had helped raise £400,000 to buy life-saving 'Heart Start' defribillator machines for every 999 ambulance.
