ANIMAL lover Tony Jackson was given the most appropriate send-off possible when his coffin arrived for his funeral in a horse-drawn carriage.
The grand transport to the church was organised at the request of his wife, Patti, of Green Haworth, Accrington.
Former police dog trainer Tony ran classes for dog owners after he retired.
He also helped TV animal agent Kevin Horkin find animals for programmes including This Morning and Coronation Street.
His coffin was carried to St Mary's RC Church, Oswaldtwistle, by horse and carriage before being taken through Accrington to the town's crematorium.
Patti said: "He adored animals and everyone believed this was very appropriate."
