THREE students who created their own fly-on-the-wall documentary of school life at Ivy Bank, Burnley, have won a runner-up prize in a national competition.

Year eight pupils Chris Kearns, Adam Lee and James Marshall shot their documentary in different locations around the school -- including the toilets!

They entered the Guardian The School I'd Like competition and out of 15,000 entries are among the few short-listed.

Chris said: "We filmed at different locations and to save us having to edit it was had a piece of card which said teleport and when we went from one area to another we would put the card in front of the camera and announce we were teleporting to the next location!"

The boys' work won the prize in the lower secondary school competition.
