BURNLEY and Bacup marched into the last four of the Worsley Cup last night -- and then drew each other in a mouth-watering semi-final at Turf Moor in two weeks time.

Burnley's paid man Dale Benkenstein made 59 in their rain-affected match against Accrington which was carried over from Saturday as they romped to a six wicket win.

And Bacup pro Shaun Young smashed a brilliant century as last season's champions beat East Lancs in a tense encounter at the Meadows.

Young and John Cunliffe shared a match-winning stand of 100 for the fourth wicket as the Valley club clinched a five wicket victory.

Colne, who crushed holders Todmorden on Saturday, will face now Ramsbottom, conquerors of Nelson, in the other semi-final at Acre Bottom.
