CHORLEY Lynx will be looking to end their season on a winning note when they entertain Keighley Cougars at Victory Park this Sunday, kick off 3pm.

Lynx currently lie next to bottom in the league, but victory would see them move above Gateshead Thunder who have already finished their fixtures.

Coach Graeme West's plans, however, have been hit by injury to key players with Ian Talbot, Peter Cahalin, Warren Hindle and Andrew Friar all missing through injury, while Steve Argent has been surprisingly recalled from his loan spell by Widnes and Stuart Fisher is doubtful with a knee injury.

Lee Prest returns to the team after injury and Gary Doherty will be recalled into the squad.

Keighley currently occupy the last play-off place and need a victory to retain their position.

Earlier in the season they were challenging Leigh at the top of the table but financial problems saw most of their first team squad leave the club.

Cougars coach Steve Deakin has recruited well to replace the outgoing stars and they now have nine players under the age of 21 in their squad.

He can, however, recall inspirational skipper Jason Ramshaw into the squad along with Chris Hogg and Phil Stephenson, all of whom missed last week's defeat at Oldham.

Also in the squad is Leroy Rivett who was man of the match for Leeds at Wembley two seasons ago. At scrum half they have Australian Nathan Antonik who is one of the best in the league.

Lynx will select from: Bamber, Winrow, Vincent, Dickinson, Taberner, Wilcock, Fisher, Prest, Ramsdale, Westwood, Harrison, Prescott, Bloor, Brown, Verelli, Doherty, Birdseye.
