Highfield drew level 10 minutes into the second period, with Davenport netting.

It was Springhead again who added their name to the scoresheet. A breakaway down Highfield's left hand side saw this move being brought to an end by Roberts who was adjudged to have brought down the quick forward, and the penalty was converted.

The referee adjudged that there were at least 5 minutes of injury time to play ath the end and in the 94th minute, Highfield's Ingham delivered a corner kick deep into the box, and the resulting melee saw Highfield's Jackson get the last touch on the ball.
