I WRITE on behalf of myself and my sister who were lucky enough to have attended the prize night for St Bede's RC High School referred to by Mr Challoner (Letters November 20).
Everything he said about Lorenzo Amoruso was spot on. What a lovely man he was. He treated all the pupils with respect and was genuine with his congratulations. His message to them was simple: everyone has something valuable to offer, whether academic or otherwise and not to take anything for granted. He was a perfect role model for the school-leavers.
An excellent choice St Bede's. Thank You.
