The point we achieved yesterday is possibly the best of the campaign so far. It could, and perhaps should, have been even better with the Clarets unlucky not to take all three.

Most fans would have happily settled for a point prior to the match and that we are now almost disappointed that we didn't collect all three shows how well the team performed. Sunderland have one of the meaner defences in the division and few teams will emerge with anything from the Stadium of Light this season. We were unlucky not to score at least three goals.

This result is a massive boost to the team and fans. We must now build on this. Excellent draws away to West Ham and Sunderland become under-valued by draws at home to the likes of Rotherham and Cardiff. We must start

collecting points at home and the upcoming clash against Coventry is one where a win will be vital to us.

Well done to Ian Moore for his goal. With Facey gone, this has put more pressure on the strikers but they responded well yesterday.

A fit Luke Chadwick combined with Glen Little should ensure we at least continue to

create chances.

Well done also to Mark McGregor who is perhaps a little under-rated. His utlitity in Burnley's defence could be a real bonus as Gnohere and May sit out their suspensions.

It is important that the fans continue to support Brian Jensen who at last is showing some strength

between the sticks. He saved us yesterday, and by encouraging and supporting him the fans will only help increase his and the team's confidence.

Let's hope the run continues against Sheffield United - it would be great for Stan to put one over Mr Warnock.
