Pupils at a Colne school will be able to enjoy a few extra days of freedom due to over-running building works.
Delays in work to improve the office and administration areas of Park High School mean pupils will have an extended summer holiday.
Schools in the borough start the new term on Monday but years 10 and 11 at Rutland Street school will return to lessons on Thursday and Friday with the rest of the school returning on Monday, August 16.
