Blackpool are still searching for their first home league win of the season after being held to a draw by Huddersfield Town.

Andy Booth celebrated his 250th game for Town with the opening goal on 15 minutes, heading home a corner from Chris Brandon.

The goal came after Booth and Abbott had already gone close, so should have proved a wakeup call, but in reality Pool were lucky to only go in one goal down at the break.

A double save from Jones on 20 minutes kept the home side in it before Lloyd and Abbott had chances to double the visitors' advantage.

The break seemed to benefit Pool more than their high flying opponents, who currently sit in eighth place in the league, and they grabbed the equaliser on 51 minutes.

John Murphy netted his fifth goal in as many games, when he rose to head home a left wing cross from Danny Coid to earn Pool a point.

The result sees Colin Hendrys' side with just one defeat in the last nine games and the two sides meet again on Tuesday when they go head to head at Bloomfield Road in the LDV Vans Trophy.
