I READ your report about fly-tipping at Openshaw Place in the Chesham area of Bury.
While I do not condone this practice, anyone self-employed will tell you how difficult it is to dispose of other peoples rubbish at the Fernhill yard without paying a business rate to do so. Why should we have to pay for disposing of other people's rubbish.
May I suggest that Bury MBC issue a ticket system so that we can dispose of a limited amount of rubbish free of charge. It may help to reduce fly-tipping.
