MANY ARRESTS: ‘Charley Chips’ Green
A BABY-FACED 14-year-old has been banned from part of Burnley following a two-year reign of terror.
Charley Green, of Liverpool Road, has been arrested in recent months for robbery, common assault, burglary, possession of cannabis, verbal abuse, criminal damage, obstructing police, harassment and intimidating a witness.
Officers told Reedley magistrates that previous interven-tions had not worked and an Anti-Social Behaviour Order was the final option.
Green, known as “Charley Chips”, was given an interim ASBO after Burnley Council took civil proceedings.
Jonathan Jackson, prosecuting for the council, said: “There is a regularity and seriousness about Charley Green’s offences and the people of Rosegrove need some respite from him.”
PC Lee Richards said he had spoken at length with Green and his mother about the behaviour.
He said: “Charley has been in the cells five times since Christmas.
"People tell me Charley has been saying he will stab me when I’m on my own.”
The interim ASBO means Green cannot associate with more than three people in public at any time, walk through parts of Rosegrove unaccompanied by an adult or throw any objects with the intent to harm.
Coun Charlie Briggs, executive member for community safety, said: “I know Charley.
"His mum works really hard to keep him on the right path and I hope he turns out to be a gentleman.”

Councillor Charlie Briggs says he knows Charley and that his mother works really hard to keep him out of trouble, well obviously not hard enough if he has been in the cell 5 times since xmas!!!

What the h3ll does an ASBO mean to this kind of filth?!?
Until the powers that be get a grip of crime and punishment in this country and stop thinking more about the criminals than the decent law abiding citizens we are facing a downward spiral in our society. The longer imbalance reigns, the harder it will be to stop and reverse the rot.
A new Government might help as long as the new lot are less politically correct than the last lot (who have supervised an enormous deterioration).

this is another one growing up to think this kind of behaviour is normal.i dread to think whats his kids are going to grow up like.the mother may well work hard but isnt that what normal people do?there are millions that work hard,so what?thats no excuse for being to soft with their kids.if you ask me we should be punishing her to for letting him run wild.and she cant say its the company he keeps or the area she lives in becaus she as options.MOVE.

Those 3 in Millhill, soon as they were featured on Granada Reports, the fact they came out straight to the camera and stuck fingers up, their criminal gurning faces (hope they stick like that for life! least the pieces of scum deserve) sticking two fingers up at the ASBOS. Within hours two are back in trouble again. In the same report we are told by the officer in charge that ASBOs are working. THEY DO NOT!

What's needed is incarceration. NOW, not later. Because we all know in months to come we will be then reading how they are up in the court after a string of other offences.

But, hey, according to some it's everyone elses fault, it's societies who 'let them down'. UTTER CRAP! They are born this way, their families are that way, they do NOT know how to behave, they only know how to behave one way - destructively and attrociously. So all those do gooders who spout that crap, mostly who live in very nice areas where they can go home at night, safe in the knowledge they won't be getting some little **** of a six year old (yes, they are getting younger) hurling bricks at your living room window or gangs of the little social misfit trolls (hillbillies spring to mind cos they are exactly that never mind chavs!) attacking the bus you are on as it goes up the street.

These people are pieces of ****. Plain and simple. Lock the bastards up, keep the rest of us safe from them. But that's asking way too much isn't it cos judge Hilary or George says we musn't lock the little **** toerags up because they have not a clue what suffering it brings to ordinary people cos once they've left the court they go home to a nice cosey little neighbourhood (on the pay they get) or a nice little mansion in the country where things like this are in a far away land, and it happens to people who don't have the luxury of living in such retreats nor can.

They created this little monster.
When Police are involved they just want a easy live and tell you to send a Solicitors letter costing in the region of £70
Inform the ASB Team and all they do is give the perpetrators the sympathy vote .
Telling you they have to go to work to put a meal on table.
More like alcohol till thier paralytic .
While there little monsters are causing havoc till 6am.
You have to take the law into your hands.
But you will not get the sympathy
You end up with a police record.
Then the perpetrators provoke you noing that you have a police record.
They then inform the police that your harrasing them.
You end up arrested and they have had a good nights entertainment while there little monsters are laughing there heads off.
And were paying for all this in Taxes and Rates.
It's not charity work those in authority are highly payed.
So carry out your duties NOW

His mum may have tried but obviously can't make him do, a spell in one of her majesty's detention centres would go a long way to getting this little $hit back on the straight and narrow.
The government should bring back Borstal.
He'll have to have eyes in the back of his head now that all the residents of Rosegrove know who he is, what he looks like and where he lives.
He'd do well to stay indoors for his own safety now the community knows all about him!
