Two men are being questioned by police after a stabbing in Nelson yesterday.
The incident took place in Southfield Street at around 7am.
Detective Inspector Dave Groombridge, of Nelson CID, said: "We received a report of an incident occurring in the early hours of the morning where an injury was received by a man from what appeared to be a bladed instrument.
“The injured man was taken to hospital and has been released and is assisting us with our inquiries.
"We also have a suspect in custody and will be questioned.”
