Appeal after assault in Great Harwood nightclub

POLICE are appealing for information about a fight in a Great Harwood nightclub after a man was evicted by door staff.

A 24-year-old man from Church lost two teeth during a punch-up in Soprano’s nightclub around 1.30am on Sunday, February 28.

The incident was sparked when bouncers removed a customer and drinks were thrown.

Police are now appealing for information about the assault.

That place has gone down hill. I was in a year or so ago and just got a drink. I was told to leave as they was fighting. Every time i go past it looks like it is closed. Why dont they just shut it down.

I have friends in Harwood who tell me there's trouble in there every weekend. I believe the problem is, they let all the wrong people in, ie, troublemakers.

I have a few friends who also live near there, the majority of the crowed in there are scum drug dealers and users, why don't the police raid places like these.

It appears to me that there are groups of people whose daily routines go like this: Work, Pub, Fight, Drink, beat up some innocent bystander then back to bed. What an exciting life that must be. Nobody wants them here, why dont they all go off somewhere, maybe an island miles form anywhere, and leave the rest of us law abiding citizens to get on with our lives in peace.

No it means i went in to the pub a year ago or even longer. When i was in the pub i bought a drink and after a few mins i was asked to leave as the drug users was fighting. Why dont they drive a car in to it and set it on fire like they did in Monroes.
