A MAN was last night in hospital with head injuries after being assaulted in a town centre street.
The man was left with injuries, not believed to be serious, after an incident in Yorkshire Street, Burnley, at around 10.45am yesterday.
Last night, two men were set to be quizzed by detectives over the attack.
Det Sgt Ian McLean, from Burnley CID, urged witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
