Knife attack on boy, 12, in Nelson


A SEARCH is underway after a knife attack left a 12-year-old boy injured.

Police said the victim was riding his bike home after leaving a friend’s house when he was chased and attacked.

According to officers the boy sustained a relatively minor hand injury which required no treatment.

They said the incident was ‘isolated’ but are still keen to find the offender.

The incident happened in Hallam Road, Nelson, at around 6.15pm on Wednesday.

The offender is described as a juvenile, around 5ft 7ins tall, of stocky build, wearing a distinctive black jacket with “Location” on the arm in fluorescent green, the hood was up and contained goggles.

Whats the point of giving the description of the attacker when we dont even know what colour he his, was the lad white, black, blue, indigo blue so best thing to do is to keep an eye out for some clothing.

My thoughts completely but we all know a full description is often avoided unless they were white!

Hallam road is a hell hole, rubbish area mainly full of white trash chavs that is why colour is not mentioned.

Work it out yourself!

i agree totally with angry lad, the hallam road area is full of anti social chavs, alcoholics, smackheads it's a shame that people can't go out without someone robbing hitting or threatening them but hey that's the lovely area i live in. (oh and i'm not a chav alkie or smackhead.)
