PEOPLE in Lancashire have been named the third-best kissers in the UK – in a poll to mark National Kissing Day today.

In an online poll of 1,000 men and women aged 18 to 55, 10 per cent of those asked said they had their best kiss in Lancashire.

The poll, by dating site kissinggates.com, also found that only 13 per cent of men and women across UK rated themselves poor kissers.

But 90 per cent of those asked said they shied away from telling someone their technique was not up to scratch.

Residents of Surrey were voted the nation’s best kissers, followed by people in Norfolk.
