A FREE men’s health event for those aged over 50 has been organised by Age Concern.
At the event there will be free health checks, advice on health issues, information stands and the opportunity to meet ex-Blackburn Rovers players.
There will also be activities to join in such as IT taster sessions and fruit smoothie making.
“As part of our Men’s Health Week activities we are holding this event which we hope will give local older men the chance to find out more about local services – but also to have some fun too,” said Alison Hartley, Age Concern’s ageing well co-ordinator.
The event takes place on Wednesday, June 17, from 2pm to 5pm at the Blues Bar, Blackburn Rovers Football Club.
