Diana Vickers dismisses tabloid rumours over Eoghan

Diana Vickers has spoken out over claims she is having an affair with fellow X Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg.

Rumours in the national press say the teenagers, who met on the show, have been “canoodling” in the house the finalists share in West Hampstead, north London.

But Diana said that she was just friends with the 16-year-old and remained committed to boyfriend Chris Jones, from Blackburn.

She said: “Eoghan and I are just really close friends and he is my best friend in the competition.

"But it is my boyfriend Chris who I am completely committed to and it is him and my family who are my key support.”

Chris, 18, said: “Diana and I have a really close relationship.

"I am not threatened by her friendship with Eoghan and I will continue to support her."
