Businesses in Chorley are being invited to a special event where they can learn about green grants to help them cut fuel bills and improve their environmental performance.
Chorley’s Local Strategic Partnership will be announcing the new grants at the launch of its climate change strategy.
The launch event will include several keynote speakers, the start of a new business forum for tackling climate change and advice on cutting costs and applying for green grants.
Councillor Peter Malpas, Chorley Council’s Executive Member (Business), said: “This is a great chance for businesses to do their bit to protect the environment while gaining a competitive edge.
“The grants on offer will help businesses improve their environmental footprint and make use of the latest technology to harness renewable energy.
“I would invite all business in Chorley to come along to find out more.”
The free launch event will take place on Tuesday, at the Revolution Marketing Suite, Buckshaw Village, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
To book a place at the event contact Zohra Ali on 01254 669509.
