Cops hunting for the people responsible for gunning down a father in Acton have offered a £30,000 reward for information.

Daniel Ezra Denis was shot in the head while driving his black BMW down Brassie Avenue, close to East Acton tube station.

The shots were fired from another car as it drove alongside, which then sped away from the scene leaving Mr Denis fatally wounded.

Police have today put up £30,000 as reward money for information which will lead to the conviction of the 26-year-old’s killers.

They are offering £20,000 for information about the person responsible, and £10,000 for the recovery of the firearm used in the killing, which happened on September 18 last year.

Detective Inspector Dave Rock, in charge of the investigation, said he believed the killers were connected to Harlesden and Brixton, and urged anyone with information to come forward.

To get in touch with DI Rock, you can call 0208 733 4704, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Five people were arrested last year in connection with the murder, but all were released without charge.
