A MAN has denied murdering a 51-year-old man who was found dead in a Darwen flat.
David Michael Kershaw, of Birch Hall Avenue, Darwen, is accused of killing Joseph Conroy at his home in Redearth Road, Darwen, on Thursday April 17.
Yesterday he pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before Preston Crown Court.
He also denied an unrelated assault on Samuel Read, causing actual bodily harm, two days later.
Kershaw was remanded in custody until September 22 for trial.
