Cricket club’s treasure of a day

DARWEN Cricket Club is hosting a family fun day and prize treasure hunt this weekend.

Today from 2pm to 4pm, a table-top sale, games, competitions, refreshments, face painting, stalls, and a bowling machine will be on offer as the first team take on Carnforth.

Prolific South African Ryan Bailey will be starring for the visitors.

The entrance fee is £2 for adults and £1 for children and concessions. A £5 family ticket is also available. Entrance is free to members.

On Sunday, between 10am and 11am, there is a prize treasure hunt. Entry costs £10 per car.
