PLAYSCHEMES are taking place in Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom, this summer.
Thanks to a successful bid to the Big Lottery for funding, Bury Ranger Service is running free outdoor play activities in parks throughout the school summer holidays.
Each child is entitled to take part for three days during the six- week period, subject to securing an available place on the scheme.
The rangers will be hosting a wide range of activities, including clay modelling, helping local wildlife, parachute games, and much more.
Playworkers will help the rangers to run the activities and, to comply with child protection legislation, all staff working on the play schemes are subject to Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks.
The schemes are running from August 19 to 21 and August 26 to 28. To book a place call 0161 253 5522.
