Three teenagers have been arrested after police say they were reported “on a roof” in Bolton town centre.
Officers were called out to the area around Great Moor Street and Chancery Lane, at around 6.10pm on the evening of Sunday April 28.
The emergency services were seen near a derelict block of flats and police have now confirmed that they have arrested three teenagers.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We were called on Sunday April 28 2024 at around 6.10pm to kids on a roof on Great Moor Street in Bolton.
“Officers attended and detained three teenagers on suspicion of criminal damage.”
As yet, no further details have been released about the ages of the three youths said to have been involved.
Eyewitnesses on Sunday evening said that they saw what looked like a “large emergency response” called to the area around the “derelict flats.”
Firefighters confirmed that they had been called to Chancery Lane shortly afterwards to help police deal with the incident.

A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "Firefighters attended Chancery Lane, Bolton, just before 6.30pm, Sunday, April 28, to assist police with an incident."
