Thanks to their own economic woes there are some real bargains to be found in wine from Argentina and this red is a good example.
It's made from the country's two most popular grapes, Malbec and Bonarda, which hails originally from Italy.
Not fantastically subtle but easy drinking with cherry and plum flavours and a sensible alcohol level of 13.5 per cent.
