Voters get a chance to have a say

10:33am Tuesday 13th February 2001

VOTERS are getting a chance to have their say about restructuring Kent County Council.

The latest edition of Kent Reports, which reaches 525,000 people in the county, explains the Government's three options for how KCC should be run in the future.

These options range from a council leader with a cabinet and scrutiny committees to an elected mayor for Kent.

Everyone who fills in a feedback slip stands a chance to win a break for two at the Holiday Inn Garden Court, Ashford.

Copies are at local libraries or call KCC's information office on 01622 694016. Call Georgina Pearce on 01622 694044 for audio and large-type versions.
