Will Radio Rossendale get the go ahead?
If so Ramsbottom could soon have its first community Radio station.Tony Dixon from Bacup and Brendan Hamer from Ramsbottom are awaiting a response from Ofcom to see if they can launch the station.
It will broadcast music during the day from the last four decades and at night it will feature rock,folk,country,rock and roll,dance and more.
The station aims to broadcast to the towns of Bacup,Haslingden,Ramsbottom,Bacup and Whitworth along with the surrounding villages.Good luck-lets hope you get the licence.
