ANOTHER excellent year was reflected in the happy faces around this High Wycombe school on the two exam result days.

The A-Level results were particularly notable, with the best set of results achieved at St Bernard's inside the past six years. The 92 per cent pass rate linked with high grade scores set students up well for their university places.

GCSE results also saw a number of students gaining the highest set of grades achieved at the school, including Joel Osborne gaining two A*s, 11 As and one C, Ian Norton two A*s, ten As and two Bs, Noreen Lynott with one A*, six As and three Bs.

Headteacher Peter Haddon is delighted that the school has established a very consistent pattern of high level achievement and, most importantly, excellent progress from year nine through to year 11; this reflects excellent standards of work from pupils and teachers, together with active support from families.
